Distant Learning Program

We will be offering testing and training services for hospitals, clinics and doctors’ offices. Training will be online and onsite, and it will cover the following areas:

· Medical interpretation in hospitals

· Medical interpretation in Clinics and Doctors’ Offices

· Title VI, forty hour training for bilingual personnel

· Training to doctors and health care providers as to how to use an interpreter along with the interpreter’s limitations imposed by the code of ethics.

Testing will be both online and onsite. Testing will include:

· Testing of your current medical interpreters to control the quality of your interpreting services.

· Testing of your potential medical interpreters

· Assessment of the translations currently in use in your hospital, clinic or doctor’s office.
